Stephanie Grey-Goosman, LPC, NCC

Stephanie is a Brazilian-American badass. She’s a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, residing in Georgia. She completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University. Her clinical expertise comes from working in several areas of mental health including: individual and group counseling at outpatient substance abuse and mental health services, inpatient care, and emergency crisis counseling. Stephanie speaks Portuguese, English, and moderate-level Spanish and provides services in these languages. Stephanie’s passion lies in working with adult (18+) individuals who resonate with the following:

Stephanie honors the experience of each individual person and integrates holistic and evidence-based modalities in her work. She is non-religious, however honors the spiritual beliefs of those she works with. Stephanie is a Certified Brainspotting Therapist and utilizes this wonderful treatment as her primary modality. She understands that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience and will also pull from several modalities (Existential Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT) to customize treatment for each individual based on their unique needs.
Facts About Stephanie:
Stephanie is an avid plant lover and has a particular knack with most philodendrons and monsteras. The great outdoors and travel are near and dear to her. Hiking, disc golfing, camping, kayaking, time with loved one’s, and cuddling her dogs Nessie and Asta are her favorite ways of enjoying life. She is no stranger to baking, and particularly enjoys making dishes such as: pudim (flan), savory pies ( torta de frango), and bread. She loves collecting songs from her adventures and particularly enjoys a mix of Rock, Alternative, MPB, and Pagode.
